Life. Fear. Hypocrite

Did they ever promise that Fear would vanish?

Or it would be overshadowed by a certain something called anything else?

did they ever say anything about how fear could lead to a mentally disturbed night?

Or even the worst time of your life...?

Did they ever warn you about how fear could take away someone you loved?

Or whether a simple problem could ruin your life?

did they ever signal you, that Fear is nothing but a funny hypocritical thing that makes you happy one minute if you overcome it and sad, if you just face it?

Did they, someone, anyone tell you to write off your fears and shed a tear to make you stronger?

Or did they just laugh at your face and make you walk through a pile of burning coal?

did they ever mention, it could be such a hypocritical bastard, like someone who roams the streets?

Or did they just sit there and watch you tear till your eyes went dry?

Did they ever mention, how tormenting the fear can be?

Or did they, just say nothing?
